Having previously worked at one of Birmingham’s leading law firms within its Corporate Communications Team, and then followed that position with an Account Manager agency role specialising in legal PR, I like to think that I’m au fait with the legal profession as a whole. More particularly, I understand the problems that arise for ever-hectic, overworked solicitors across the country when they use software such as content and document management systems in their day to day legal work like sourcing and amalgamating court bundles or archiving old cases.
So, with an in-house corporate communications and legal PR agency past which included drafting Legal 500 submissions and Chambers’ reports, I was excited to learn that Vitis was pitching for a legal technology client. Bringing my corporate communications background into play, I liaised with all the legal eagles I know, from public sector law solicitors to private practice employment and personal injury specialists, to find out their thoughts on new content management systems, like SiteCore, and document management systems, such as Microsoft’s SharePoint.
We pitched for our first legal technology client and I am happy to announce we won and are now growing our technology expertise into this new sector. But, just because this legal technology client is our first doesn’t mean Vitis is new to the legal technology practice. Not only does Vitis have my own personal experiences and knowledge, the other Vitis staff bring their individual 10 years plus of experience in all manner of technology sectors to the table. So, if you’re a legal technology company seeking to raise your brand awareness, contact the legal technology PR team and see what Vitis can offer!
