Embedded Live 2010 was held in London last week; the work we did around it gives you an idea of what you should expect a PR agency to do when supporting you at at a trade show.
We work for embedded design consultancy ByteSnap Design promoting their new electronic design and embedded software development work. Exciting news for the show was: they achieved Windows Embedded Silver Partner status, they produced a mission control board for an autonomous sub (for the University of Southampton) and launched version 2.0 of their embedded device UI development tool.
In the run up to the show we helped ByteSnap Design put together their press materials and get their message to the right media. We also secured and hosted briefings at the show. The ByteSnap Design team met with:
- Embedded Tech Journal
- Embedded Control Europe
- New Electronics
- Emcore
- Electronics Weekly
- Micro Technology Europe
Identifying the right media contacts and getting press materials helped build interest in what ByteSnap Design were showing. The work didn't end there though; securing the briefings and making sure they happened was an essential part of making the show work.
